Vulnerable

I have been thinking a lot about vulnerability lately.  Hard places and hard people can force your mind to go to dark places.  They make you want to hide and disengage.

I decided, a while back now, that vulnerability is still a good thing.  It comes pretty naturally to me.  If we're not vulnerable, we're not able to bear the burdens of others.  We're false.  We give the impression that we've got it all together when, in reality, we're struggling, just like everyone else.  We take away the pleasure others have in helping us bear our burdens.

So here's some validation for that decision from someone who conveys the message a whole lot better than I can.

Blessings.
