Hi All --
I wanted to give some time to a situation that we have been following as a family for a couple weeks now. Some life-long friends of ours have a baby girl (Addi King) with Leukemia. If I'm understanding correctly, she just turned or is about to turn eight.
It looks as if she is responding well to treatment, but this family has a long road to travel. Here is a link to the facebook page and also a link up to a fund-raising page to help offset the expenses for treatment.
Chris (Addi's Daddy) is a close friend to my brother, Aaron, and therefore, has been an honorary member of the Womack family for some time. Every member of that family is being lifted up in prayer in the Allen household, and I'm sure in the Womack homes as well.
I know some of you like to find ways to give over and above your monthly tithe to your church. Please consider this an opportunity to do just that!
