I'm not exactly sure when objective truth died in America. The stench in Washington this week has made it appallingly clear that it is not only dead, it has devolved directly into the final stages of complete decay.
Want proof?
When someone can perjure themselves in front of the highest court in the land without any fear of punishment, subjectivity reigns supreme. When Hollywood is called in to report because on-screen debauchery, cheap thrills and entertainment are more highly revered by an entire society than work ethic, education and public service, there's no question that we've reached the point of no return.
If we are not the laughing stock of the entire world, well, we should be.
